Paris, France – The 2025 Ballon d’Or ceremony is set to unveil the world’s best male footballer tonight at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris. Hosted jointly by France Football and UEFA, the prestigious award recognises the top performer of the 2024-25 season, based on evaluations from 100 international journalists who consider individual impact, team achievements, and fair play.

Leading contenders for the award include Ousmane Dembélé of Paris Saint-Germain, celebrated for his pivotal role in PSG’s Champions League and Ligue 1 triumphs, and Lamine Yamal of Barcelona, who was instrumental in securing La Liga and Copa del Rey victories. Other nominees in contention include Raphinha, Mohamed Salah, and Kylian Mbappé, highlighting a competitive field of global talent.

In addition to the men’s award, the evening will also feature the presentation of the women’s Ballon d’Or and the Yashin Trophy, awarded to the best goalkeeper, among other accolades.
The ceremony will be streamed live from 8:00 p.m. CEST, offering fans worldwide a front-row view of football’s most celebrated night.
