Scattered Rains and Thunderstorms To Hit Ghana On Friday
Accra, Ghana – The Ghana Meteorological Agency (GMet) has forecast varied weather conditions across the country from Wednesday night through Friday, including scattered rains, thunderstorms, and mist.
According to GMet, Wednesday night will see mostly cloudy skies, with slight to moderate rainfall along the coastal areas and adjoining districts. The middle, transition, and northern belts are expected to experience scattered thunderstorms and rain.
On Thursday, early morning mist and fog patches are likely in the coastal, middle, and transition zones. Conditions will remain mostly cloudy, with coastal rains and thunderstorms in the middle and northern regions later in the day.
By Friday, mist and fog are forecast in the morning across most parts of the country, followed by sunny intervals. GMet warned of isolated rains and thunderstorms in the middle and northern belts, while coastal areas could experience scattered showers.
The agency has advised the public, particularly farmers and coastal residents, to exercise caution as weather conditions fluctuate.
