Anas judicial exposé: Judge secures victory; likely to be reinstated

The Court of Appeal has ruled in favor of one of the judges who was fired as a result of the Anas Aremeyaw Anas exposé.
In the wake of the Anas probe into judicial corruption, 20 judges from subordinate courts, including the judge, Benjamin Yaw Osei, were fired.
At the time, he served as the Juabeng Circuit Court’s judge.
He was accused of releasing an accused individual after accepting money from them.
Due to the fact that the accused has already been found guilty and sentenced to jail, his attorneys have argued that the accusation is untrue.
