Accra, Ghana — Ghana mourns the loss of a revered traditional leader as Asantehemaa Nana Konadu Yiadom III, the Queen Mother of the Ashanti Kingdom, has passed away at the age of 91.
According to reports, her passing was confirmed on Monday, August 11, 2025, following an emergency meeting of the Asanteman Traditional Council called by the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.
