‘Charles Opoku is a political sex offender’ – Sammy Gyamfi
Sammy Gyamfi, the National Communication Officer for the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), has denied claims that his party regretted not running Charles Opoku, the NPP candidate, in the Assin North by-elections.
He claims that Charles Opoku only formally joined the NPP after the NDC turned down his request to represent them in the Assin North by-election.
Sammy Gyamfi said the NPP candidate lacks values and cannot be trusted while speaking to media at one of the polling places for the present by-election.
Charles Opoku is an agent provocateur in politics. He came to us and told us to abandon Quayson and make him our candidate. But we informed him that this is not how the NDC operates and that he should wait in line instead.
