Check out the abandoned state of Assin North road after the by-election

Prior to the by-election in the constituency, there was allegedly no longer any significant road building going on, along with other social facilities.
The majority of the contractors hired by the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo administration are alleged to have abandoned projects they had just begun with state cash by leaving job sites with their equipment.
One of the abandoned road projects in Assin Akonfudi, a suburb of the Assin North Constituency, was depicted in a video posted by Peace FM.
Only a small portion of one side of the road has been tarred, despite the majority of it having been graded.

On some sections of the road without gravel, one can even see where bitumen has been applied.
According to Peace FM, the locals have been vehemently criticizing the road’s abandonment.
They contend that the government did nothing more than trick them into supporting its candidate in the by-election.
