Flagbearer hopeful of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, has urged Ghanaians to give him a chance to lead the nation, pledging to prove his competence within just one term.
Speaking to party faithful in the Western Region, the former Assin Central MP appealed for support from the party’s grassroots as he positions himself for the 2028 general elections.
According to him, his stewardship should be judged strictly within a four-year mandate, after which voters may decide whether to retain or reject him.
“Please try me for at most four years. If I am unable to deliver, then you can vote me out,” Agyapong stated in a video message shared on social media.
The outspoken politician reiterated his commitment to national development, job creation, and youth empowerment, emphasizing that his leadership would focus heavily on wealth creation and economic growth.
He also revealed plans to empower businessmen and women within the party to strengthen its financial base, arguing that a financially independent party would be better positioned to deliver on its promises.
Agyapong stressed that his dedication to development and financial stability would set him apart, insisting that Ghanaians would find in him a competent and results-driven leader if given the opportunity.
