GYAKYE QUAYSON’S TRIAL : “DORMAAHENE HASN’T ERRED, HE SPOKE AS A CHIEF” – NDC COMMUNICATOR

Former Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress in the Bibiani-Ahwiaso-Bekwai constituency, Abdul Sammed Mohamed(Wofa Sammed) is of the view that Oseadieyo Osaagyefo Agyeman Badu II paramount chief of Dormaa Traditional Area has not erred commenting on Gyakye Quayson’s court case because he commented as a chief not otherwise.

Speaking to AkuapemHann an Okyeame Radio newsman, Wofa Sammed noted that the chief has the right to call for curtailment of the case against the MP.

He further cited other instances where the Attorney General has entered nolle prosiqui(withdrawn cases) against individuals stressing that Quayson going to court everyday is also an unfair treatment because Nana Appiah Mensah (NAM 1) of Menzgold who dupped many people is not on daily trial.

Nana Darko Zunia , a New Patriotic Party’s Communications team member expressing his sentiment on the same issue alleged that the Dormaa chief is only doing politics and nothing else.

According to him, the case should not be treated with emotions and sympathy, we should allow the law of the country to take it due course.

He bemoaned how our leadership, chiefs, pastors are being hypocritical in the country reiterating that Adamu Sakande’s case wasn’t far from this meanwhile Nana Agyeman Badu was in the country but did not plead for withdrawal of his case.
