I called Sammi Awuku to check NLA records if Gyakye Quayson has a lotto kiosk at Assin North- Chairman Wontumi
James Gyakye Quayson doesn’t even possess a “lotto kiosk” at Assin North, according to Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boaisako, the NPP’s regional chairman for Ashanti. This was confirmed by Mr. Antwi-Boaisako after conducting a cross-check against the NLA’s data.
“I called Sammi Awuku, Director of Ghana Lotteries, and asked him if their records indicate that Gyakye Quayson has a lottery kiosk at Assin North. He responded no. Assin North residents cannot support such a person, hence on Tuesday, Chairman Wontumi of the NPP expects them to vote for Charles Opoku.
The aforementioned statement was given by Chairman Wontumi at Assin Breku during a sizable victory celebration for Charles Opoku.
He concluded by saying that the NPP would win the Assin North seat in the same manner that they had won the Kumawu by-election.
