In an interview with well-known media personality Chude Jideonwo, Nollywood actress Iniobong Edo recently spoke up about her failed marriage, confessing she had second thoughts about getting married in the first place.
The lovely thespian married American-based businessman Philip Ehiagwina on November 29, 2008, but the marriage only lasted five years until the pair split in 2013.
In the interview, Ini-Edo stated that her family coerced her marriage and that she would only consider marriage with the right person.
“I regretted my decision to get married because it wasn’t the right move to make,” she stated.

The actress received a child via surrogacy in 2021, stating that she did so owing to miscarriages.
“I chose surrogacy after a couple of miscarriages.” And I’d had enough of trying.
“I have no husband.” So, whether I have a partner or not, I want a child for myself. So, what other choices do I have? And I desired that it be my child. These are my eggs. Fortunately, my eggs are edible. So that’s what I did.”
