John Mahama to speak about corruption in Nigeria

Former President John Mahama is scheduled to speak to the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers about the damaging effects of corruption on economies and how to combat it today in Illorin, Kwara State, Nigeria.

According to his special assistant Joyce Bawah Mogtari, John Mahama would be the keynote speaker at the Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers’ 53rd Annual National Conference.

“On Thursday, June 22, 2023, Former President John Dramani Mahama will go to Ilorin in the Nigerian state of Kwara as a Special Guest of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers.

The 53rd annual national conference of the Institution, which began on June 19, 2023, will feature remarks by Mr. Mahama.

He is scheduled to talk at a conference on “Asset Valuation as a Global Anti-Corruption Tool” and is likely to touch on the detrimental effects that corruption in all of its manifestations has on economies.

According to the statement signed by Ms. Bawa Mogtari, Mr. Mahama will also provide the Conference with comprehensive recommendations on how to effectively employ standards and valuation to fight corruption.
