Henry Nana Boakye, a.k.a. Nana B, the national organizer for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), has lamented the National Democratic Congress’s (NDC’s) attacks on the judiciary.
According to him, former President John Dramani Mahama, who is their leader and set the example for such unwarranted verbal attacks, is to blame for the disrespect for the judiciary.
“The NDC leader has been satirizing the judiciary, and that is inspiring some of the followers. When we were in court, something similar occurred to one of my older friends, Dr. Ayine, who I respect, and we all had to beg for him.
The former president has now made it his business to demean the court whenever he is given the chance to speak. What’s even more concerning is the fact that he previously won a case in court and celebrated by donning a white kaftan, but since he went to court without any supporting proof, the smallest opportunity he is given, he insults the judge. Ist das fair? Is this not being careless? He queried.
