The spokesperson of the Nigeria Police force, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, says the police will be investigating a video of some police officers carting away ballot boxes in Igwuruta, Rivers state on Saturday, February 25.
The viral videos show officers trying to force the ballot boxes into their patrol van but it fell, spilling the thumb-printed ballot papers on the floor.
Reacting to the video, Olumuyiwa said
‘’We have contacted Rivers State Command on this. Necessary investigation will be done. Thanks.”
