More than 2,000 young people from all 16 regions of Ghana converged at the Pentecost Convention Centre in Gomoa Fetteh for the 2025 National Youth Conference, held from September 4–5 under the theme “Igniting Potential; Inspiring Change.”

Organized by the National Youth Authority (NYA) in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth Development, the two-day event focused on digital empowerment, entrepreneurship, and sustainable development. Participants engaged in workshops, panel discussions, and networking sessions aimed at equipping them with skills for the modern economy.

During the opening session, NYA Chief Executive Officer Osman Ayariga and Minister George Opare Addo unveiled the Ghana Youth Federation, a new initiative designed to address youth unemployment and strengthen the role of young people in national policy-making.

The conference also highlighted partnerships with global organizations to support innovation, digital literacy, and sustainable development programs targeted at Ghana’s youth.

Attendees praised the event as a platform to exchange ideas, acquire practical skills, and advocate for increased youth participation in shaping the nation’s future.
