Police officer killed in robbery at Ablekuma filling station

Following an alleged heist on June 22 at the Ablekuma Star Oil filling station in Accra, a police officer was shot and murdered there.
According to 3news.com, there is a significant security presence at the scene as the incident is being investigated.
Additionally, the police have launched a manhunt to find the alleged burglars.
The pick-up car that was reportedly carrying some passengers who were bankers was the target of the criminals, according to reports.

The pick-up was trailed by four robbers to the Ablekuma Fan Milk filling station, when a shootout occurred.
The police officer was shot many times at close range while he was seated in front of the pickup.
The morgue at the Police Hospital now houses the body, which will be preserved and examined.
