The burial arrangements of bullion van policeman shot by Ablekuma robbers emerge

The burial arrangements for the Accra, Ghana, police officer who was brutally killed by armed thieves while on duty in a bullion truck at a gas station have been made public.

One of the four guys who launched a surprise attack on the bullion van as it approached the StarOil Filling Station near Ablekuma Fanmilk shot G/L/CPL Amoah Callistus, a 28-year-old police officer, multiple times.

Even as the van’s driver fled, the armed burglars managed to flee the scene with a bag they had stolen from the vehicle.

After the heinous incident, CCTV evidence and amateur films showed how the policeman died, despite the fact that some locals were able to bring him to the nearest hospital after the robbers fled the scene.

According to an online obituary, G/L/CPL Amoah Callistus will have a pre-burial service on Friday, July 14, 2023, at the St. George Catholic Church, Police Depot, Tesano, Accra, which would be followed immediately by the funeral rites.

On July 15, 2023, his body “will be taken to the family home.”

On that day, a brief funeral mass will also be held in the Upper East Region at Kologu, Navrongo.

After the service and burial, the final funeral rites will be performed in the front yard of the family home.

G/L/CPL In addition to his wife, Amoah Callistus also left behind a son named Daniel Ainezoya Asangdina.

Since the event on June 22, 2023, the Ghana Police Service has detained two guys in connection with the crime.
