Management of Cape Coast Venomous Vipers FC have assured supporters of the club, their determination in qualifying to play in the nation’s Premier League.
They have therefore resolved not to rest on their oars after qualifying to play next season’s Access Bank Division One League.
The team which showed promises from both the second division league and also during the middle league. Vipers registered a 1-0 win over Young Red Bull FC in the finals of the Central Regional Division Two middle League.
Albert Ato Hammond scored the only goal of the match to secure a breakthrough for Venomous Vipers FC to the second tier League.

During the campaign for qualification, the team won all matches during the regular season and the Middle League. Performances exhibited by the club throughout the season had been phenomenal as it went through the entire campaign without conceding a defeat.
The team’s qualification according to officials was due to the rejuvenation of the club and the structures put in place by the club’s new management last year.
The Chairman of the Board of Venomous Vipers, Mr Kweku Ackah-Yensu, speaking to the playing body in Cape Coast, Monday 19th June, 2023, commended the CEO of the Club, Albert Nelson Nunoo and his deputy William Aggrey Fynn as well as the technical director Joseph Carr, for great sacrifices they made in ensuring qualification. He also commended the players and the technical team for their great efforts.
He indicated they anticipated qualification to the Division One League from the moment the new management took over affairs.
“The qualification to play in the Access Bank Division One League did not come as a surprise to us because we knew the structures we implemented will do the trick”, he shared.
According to him, the structures put in place played a vital role in the success chalked by the club. He indicated that, the players played as a team and also listen to instructions from the technical team.
“We have a united team who played to instructions and we commend them for qualifying to play in the Access Bank Division One League”, he intimated.
Mr. Ackah-Yensu further said: “The players demonstrated exceptional performances during the season and we hope they can replicate same during the next season”.
He indicated that, even though the club has a relatively young team, the team will cause surprises during the Access Bank Division One League and subsequently qualify to play in the country’s Premier League.
Management, he said, was ready to offer the needed assistance to the playing body including the technical team to achieve the desired results.
