We’re Supporting Ablekuma West Constituency For Victory 2024 – SA NDC Women’s Wing States

The South African National Democratic Congress Women’s Wing have donated ¢10,000.00 to support the Ablekuma West Constituency.

The donation was in response to a call from the party for Diaspora Chapters to adopt a constituency to support in their efforts in recapturing power in 2024.

At the donation ceremony held at the Ablekuma West Constituency Office, Monday September 11, 2023, Madam Wilbertina Buxton, Women Organizer of the NDC SA Chapter underscored the need for them to contribute their quota in helping the party to recapture power. “We are here to support the party to enable them assist the foot soldiers of the party to educate the new voters to register. We’re offering ¢10,000 to support your efforts”, she indicated.

In her speech, Madam Buxton added that they came as a diaspora chapter to offer their support to the party as the Electoral Commission prepares to open the limited registration exercise. It is incumbent on us to help the party prepare to actively participate in the exercise and the up coming district level election.

“We decided to support the Ablekuma West Constituency because that is where I grew up and I solicited the funds to bring the support back to my constituency”, Madam Wilbertina Buxton explained.

She then called on the other diaspora chapters of the great Akatamanso to quickly adopt a constituency and support them for victory 2024

The NDC Constituency Chairman for Ablekuma West, Mr. Bright Mawuli Ahoto who received the donation explained how such donations are super helpful to the grassroot mobilization and campaign effort. He thanked the Women’s Wing of the SA chapter and appealed for more support for the constituency as they gear up for the 2024 parliamentary and presidential elections.

“With more of such support, we would be energized with renewed vigor to work harder in taking back the seat from the incumbent.”, Chairman Mawuli averred.

In attendance were the Ablekuma West NDC Parliamentary candidate for Ablekuma West, Rev. Kweku Addo and some other Constituency Executives.
