Within the next 50 years, all LGBTQ+-friendly nations will disappear – Bernard Ahiafor

Bernard Ahiafor, a member of parliament for Akatsi South, stated during a parliamentary debate on July 5, 2023, that he thought countries that practice LGBTQ+ would vanish over the next 50 years.
Ahiafor used the idea that when people were formed, they were given instructions to reproduce and populate the Earth to support his forecast. Accordingly, he believed that nations that depart from this natural order will inevitably disappear.
It’s crucial to remember that these remarks were made during a discussion in favor of passing the anti-LGBTQ+ legislation.
“Countries that engage in LGBTQ+ activity will become extinct on earth in 50 years, according to my prophecy. The majority of those nations will no longer exist on Earth, and very soon they may even need to import laborers from nations that do not support LGBTQ+ rights, which is not how things should be done, he said.

Bernard Ahiafor emphasized his support for the measure by highlighting Ghana’s departure from the global trend and claiming that Ghana sought to take a different course.
He stated his support for the law and emphasized that it did not violate any provisions of Ghana’s 1992 constitution while underlining the fact that it promoted proper human rights and family values.
The bill, if voted into law, “will never violate any provisions in our constitution,” he stated. “Mr. Speaker, look at the constitution. From article 12 is dedicated to fundamental human rights.”
